Jambo! Welcome to Tanzania. Today you will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
One of our Gama Tours & Safari guides will be eagerly waiting to meet you. After your flight, you will be taken directly to the lodge where you can rest and immerse yourself in the African atmosphere. It is approximately an hour’s drive from the airport to Arusha.
You will be amazed by the beautiful nature and warm hospitality you will experience here. Our guide will point out interesting sights and tell you more about the local culture along the way. Upon arrival at the lodge, you can relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the lush gardens around the exclusive chalets. Let yourself be enchanted by the scents, colors, and sounds of Africa and get ready for an unforgettable journey full of adventure and discovery.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the lodge and depart for Lake Manyara National Park. It’s about a 2 to 2.5-hour drive on well-paved roads.
You will be amazed by the diversity of animals you will encounter here, such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, and buffalos. Along the way, our experienced guide will tell you all about the flora and fauna of the park and point out interesting sights.
The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara. You will see them lying in the branches of trees, resting and basking in the sun. And of course, you cannot miss the thousands of pink flamingos that surround the lake.
It will be a day full of adventure and discoveries, surrounded by the beautiful nature and wildlife of Tanzania. Get ready to be enchanted by the beauty and magic of Lake Manyara National Park.
Today you will visit ‘one of the African wonders’, the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is absolutely worth a visit and is best visited early in the morning, so you can see the animals up close.
As you descend to the famous Ngorongoro Crater floor, you will see an indescribably beautiful view. You will be literally surrounded by the most beautiful animals and nature. On the crater floor, you will find the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and have the greatest chance of spotting the black rhino! The people of the famous Maasai tribe also live in this area. You will encounter them in their traditional red clothing with their herds of cattle. The Maasai tour is also highly recommended.
In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to the Serengeti National Park, where you will spend the night. It will be a day full of breathtaking experiences and unforgettable encounters with the wildlife and Maasai culture.
Serengeti is the most famous national park in the world, mainly due to the Great Migration.
In addition to the Great Migration, it is also home to the world’s largest predators. Serengeti means “endless plain” in Maasai, and when you visit Serengeti, it quickly becomes clear why it has earned its name.
