Today, you’re heading to the Maasai. The Maasai are known for their proud culture and striking appearance, especially the young warriors. They wear distinctive bright red robes and are often seen carrying long sticks or spears. Originally nomadic, the Maasai migrate with their livestock through the landscape. Sometimes, you’ll come across temporary settlements of round huts, called manyattas, surrounded by fences of branches, known as bomas. An encounter with the Maasai offers a fascinating insight into their unique lifestyle and culture. Be prepared to be immersed in the vibrant history of this remarkable tribe.
