Sangaiwe Tented Lodge

Sangaiwe tented lodge is located just outside Tarangire National Park and is a great accommodation that provides all the amenities. From your balcony at this accommodation, you can enjoy a breathtaking view, and who knows.. you might even spot some wild animals.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

The safari will start today! After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up at the lodge and head to Tarangire National Park.

It will take approximately 2/2.5 hours to drive on well-paved roads. Tarangire is the fifth largest park in Tanzania and is famous for its many Baobab and Acacia trees and large herds of elephants, which are often seen around the Tarangire River. In addition to the many elephants, there are many other animals to be found. Your personal guide can tell and show you everything.

We only offer private safaris, which means that you can plan your day with your guide as you wish. Together with your guide, you can decide on the start and end time of the game drive.

Tarangire offers the opportunity to do a balloon safari or to visit a Maasai village. It is also possible to stay overnight in Tarangire National Park. We would be happy to tell you more about these options.

Day 4-5: Serengeti

After a lovely breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and taken on a long and bumpy ride of approximately 4-5 hours to arrive in Serengeti. It is a long but very beautiful drive where you will see many different African landscapes.

Serengeti is the most famous National Park in the world, mainly due to the Great Migration. Together with your guide, you will search for the Great Migration and witness thousands of animals (wildebeest and zebras) in search of fresh grass. This has been shown on many nature documentaries, but seeing it live… that is unique!

Serengeti means “endless plain” in Maasai, and when you visit Serengeti, it quickly becomes clear why it has earned its name.

Did you know that you can also do a balloon safari in Serengeti? We would be happy to discuss the options with you.

Tanzania bush camps

A beautiful camp, located in the middle of the wildlife in the Serengeti. A fantastic experience to sleep among all the wildlife. If you listen carefully... you may hear the lions roar early in the morning!

Bougainvillea Safari Lodge

This lodge is located just outside the village of Karatu. The bungalows are situated in a beautiful garden where a swimming pool can also be found. It's a lovely place to relax after the safari.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

Early in the morning, you will leave the Serengeti to drive to “one of the African wonders,” the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area (the area around the crater) are definitely worth a visit.

When you descend to the famous Ngorongoro Crater floor, you will see an indescribably beautiful view. You will literally be surrounded by the most beautiful animals and nature.

On the crater floor, you will find the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and the greatest chance to spot the black rhino!

In this area, the people of the famous Maasai tribe also live. You will encounter them in their traditional red clothing with their herds of cows.

Day 7: Going back home? Or still heading to Zanzibar?

Today, you can enjoy and reminisce about the beautiful experiences you’ve had in the past few days. Relax by the pool with a local drink, go through your photos, or simply soak up the sun. Today is completely up to you.

Want to create more beautiful memories? Go on a safari or take a cultural tour? It’s possible!

Our guide will be happy to assist and discuss all possible options with you.
